Why the deadline is earlier than you think
A made-to-order sofa isn’t sitting in a warehouse — it gets built after you order it, in your chosen fabric, and lead times run 3–8 weeks depending on the maker. Then it has to be delivered, and December delivery calendars fill fastest of the whole year. Work backwards from Christmas week and the comfortable answer lands in October, not December.

Dates checked 20 October 2026. Lead times are the maker’s current ones and can move in both directions — the only guarantee worth having is the one we give you against your actual order, so phone 01709 376633 before you rely on a date.
The honest version of “guaranteed by Christmas”: nobody controls a fabric mill or a December motorway. What we do control: we give you a realistic date when you order, not an optimistic one — and our own two-person crew does the delivering, so your sofa isn’t one parcel among thousands in a courier depot on 20 December.

The full made-to-order route — your fabric, your colour, your configuration — is the one with the hard deadline. Two ways to beat it without rushing the decision:
Swatches first, by post, free. Order fabric swatches today, check them in your own lamplight this weekend, order early next week. Still comfortably inside the window.
